ISO 17025, advantages and tips for its implementation.

The ISO 17025 standard is specially designed to establish the requirements that must be met by the calibration and testing laboratory. As usual in all ISO, they are quality standards that demonstrate that the techniques used are relevant and accurate laboratory results.

The main requirements to obtain the certificate ISO 17025 are: have a highly qualified team, have exclusive laboratory equipment, a calibration and critical inputs for the achievement of the daily work, control of the test methods and/or calibration and good management and notification of certified calibration information and accredited test reports.
